Galaxy AFile System Compatibility
1. _File system mismatch_: The file system on the SSD might not be compatible with your phone's operating system. When you copied movies from your PC, the file system might have been changed.
2. _NTFS vs. exFAT_: Windows PCs often use NTFS, while Android devices typically support exFAT or FAT32. If the SSD is formatted with NTFS, your phone might not recognize it.
Formatting Issues
1. _Incomplete formatting_: When you formatted the SSD using your phone, the process might not have completed correctly.
2. _Incorrect formatting options_: The formatting options used by your phone might not be compatible with the SSD.
Connection and Hardware Issues
1. _USB-C connection issues_: The USB-C connection between the SSD and your phone might be faulty.
2. _SSD hardware issue_: There could be a hardware problem with the SSD itself.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. _Reformat the SSD using a PC_: Try reformating the SSD using a PC, making sure to use a compatible file system like exFAT.
2. _Use a different USB-C cable_: Try using a different USB-C cable to rule out any connection issues.
3. _Restart your phone_: A simple reboot can often resolve temporary software glitches.
4. _Check for firmware updates_: Ensure the SSD firmware is up-to-date.
5. _Contact SanDisk support_: Reach out to SanDisk support for further assistance, as the issue might be specific to the SSD.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to consider visiting a authorized service center for further assistance.

Galaxy AWhat had happened, you know? I had set a password to this SSD for connecting to my PC. Therefore, now I removed the password and Bingo! The SSD is now free and easily connects to my phone.
Thanks again for taking so much effort to help me
