One UI 5.1 - Volume button changes notification volume instead of Media

Dear Samsung Support Team,

I am writing to report a persistent issue with my Samsung A22 5G after the One UI 5.1 update. The issue is that the volume button is changing the notification volume instead of the media volume. This issue is causing inconvenience as I am unable to adjust the media volume using the volume buttons as I used to.

I have also noticed that this issue is temporarily fixed after restarting or resetting the phone but after some time it reappears. Moreover, I am unable to increase volume of video, whatsapp status and games using the volume buttons, even though I have set the option for using volume button for media volume.

I would like to request that your team address this issue and provide a bug fix as soon as possible, as this issue is affecting my daily use of the phone. Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide to assist with this matter.

Sir same issues its nothing to do with our devices sir its all about a bug in the april update i tried everything you have mentioned but still same sir Plz help us sir.We love samsung but as the years are passing by i am loosing the hope i had on samsung.I had a j7 phone which was my first one but till date it has never gone for repairs but my 7 month old phone has all sort of issue with april 23 update sir plz look into it asap

Cleqr data at "Sound picker" resolved my issue

Thanks bro, I cleared data of Sound Picker and then i restarted phone after that is was issue was resolved.

Actually it was just for a few days after that the issues is keep coming and i have reset my phone a couple of times. You have to release a bug fix update asap.

My phone volume button changes notification volume instead of media and my power button is also not responding some time for on and off only but my finger scanner in working. These all happened after updating my Samsung galaxy A22 5g into one UI 5.1 the worst update I have ever by samsung don't expected .

I have another idea if you have more than one issue with one ui core 5.1 then you downgrade to 5.0 with january 1 security update

Note

Before downgrade you must do a full backup of your data and mobile with smartswitch and pendrive or pc

After backup download one ui core 5.0 with January 1 security patch (a226b) https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-A226B/INS/A226BXXU5CWB6

And follow instruction below the firmware download in this website and install it via odin

After opening mobile phone you can transfer data from pendrive or pc to phone via smartswitch..

All done....

You are on one ui core 5.0 with jan security patch

Any update on this? After restarting, the issue goes for a few hours but then it's back after a few hours
