After updating my device to One UI 8 (Android 16), I have personally experienced several serious issues that are affecting both security and daily functionality.
The most critical ones are related to Secure Folder, but I have also encountered multiple system-level problems since the update.

1. Secure Folder No Longer Auto-Locks
Before the update, in One UI 7 and earlier versions, Secure Folder automatically locked the moment I left or minimized the app.
After updating to One UI 8, this behavior has changed — the Secure Folder now stays unlocked even after I exit or switch apps.
Impact I’m facing:
My sensitive files and documents remain exposed until the screen turns off or I manually lock the folder.
The “Lock Secure Folder when leaving app” option is completely missing under Auto-Lock settings.
This compromises the purpose of Secure Folder, which is supposed to secure data automatically when not in use.
My request:
Please restore the previous auto-lock feature or provide a toggle to immediately lock the Secure Folder upon exit.

2. File Access Isolation Problem in Secure Folder
After the update, I noticed that the Secure Folder is unable to properly access its own internal files and folders. It only shows photos and videos, but not other file types such as PDFs, documents, or app data.
Even more concerning, I’ve observed that Secure Folder can now access personal storage directories outside its sandbox, which breaks the expected separation between secure and regular storage.

Files saved inside Secure Folder are sometimes invisible or inaccessible from within it.
At the same time, I can view non-secure personal files through Secure Folder apps, which should not happen.
