Go to settings>apps>Instagram>Battery>Select the option Restricted and Then Also turn off background data of the app.

Don't think much bro just put the app to deep sleep. Then you won't get any kind of notifications from Instagram until you open it.

Turn off "allow background usage" from app settings of instagram. You can also put the instagram app into deep sleep mode. Now your problem will be solved. If you still getting the problem again then uninstall instagram and install instagram lite version.
