Yes Dear , It supports 5Ghz band .
You don't need to change anything. It will automatically connect to 5Ghz hotspot band. But if you are facing problem while connecting to 5Ghz you can turn on hotspot 2.0 connect option .
But if you want to use 5Ghz band while sharing hotspot you need to change it manually becoz some devices don't support that band.

There is no option of changing wifi manually.
Hotspot 2.0 is already enabled still can't connect to 5Ghz band.

"Reset network settings" of your phone once.
This will reset all settings of Bluetooth, WiFi, and SIM.
