I have Samsung A33 and have been using it for over 1.5 years with no issues until recently. After a security update, fast charging stopped working for a while. Since it wasn’t a major issue for me, I didn’t take any immediate action. However, after the next security update, it started working again.

But now, there’s a new issue after the update. The phone keeps restarting constantly (at least 20 times today). It started with a few broad lines appearing in the background with a yellow shadow. I’ve tried all the steps in the manual, wiped the cache, and performed a factory reset twice, but the issue still persists. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

If it continuously restarting just go to samsung care and let your phone to be checked. Many times restarting can be caused by mother board failure issue. Lets hope there is not a motherboard problem. Just Go to samsung care.

Sorry to hear that your Samsung A33 is experiencing issues after the recent security updates.

Given that you've already tried troubleshooting steps like wiping the cache and performing a factory reset, it's possible that the issue is hardware-related or due to a software conflict.

Here are some potential causes:

1. *Hardware Failure*: The broad lines and yellow shadow on the screen could indicate a hardware issue, such as a faulty display or a malfunctioning graphics processing unit (GPU).
2. *Software Conflict*: The security updates might have introduced a software conflict that's causing the phone to restart constantly.
3. *Overheating*: Overheating can cause a phone to restart repeatedly. Check if your phone is overheating during the restarts.
4. *Faulty Battery*: A malfunctioning battery can cause a phone to restart randomly.

To further troubleshoot the issue:

1. *Boot your phone in Safe Mode*: This will disable all third-party apps and help you determine if the issue is caused by a software conflict.
2. *Check for any physical damage*: Inspect your phone's screen and body for any signs of physical damage that could be causing the issue.
3. *Try a different charger and cable*: Sometimes, a faulty charger or cable can cause issues with your phone's charging and restarting.

If none of these troubleshooting steps resolve the issue, it's likely that there's a hardware problem that requires professional attention.

You may want to:

1. *Visit a Samsung Authorized Service Center*: They can diagnose the issue and provide a suitable solution, which may include repairing or replacing your phone.
2. *Contact Samsung Support*: Reach out to Samsung's customer support for further guidance and assistance.

Remember to keep a record of your troubleshooting steps and any communication with Samsung support. This will help ensure a smoother support experience.

Looks like It is a hardware issue. Kindly check the power and it's compression when pushed. Also check mobile case. There might also be a short circuit️. Otherwise this might be caused due to overheating🔥. Due to typical or unauthorized app. Better to see customer care. Tip fof you, Don't keep important in this device.

I visited the service center, but they couldn't figure out the actual problem and are asking me to replace the entire hardware. The cost is more than 50% of the total price of the phone, plus taxes and the warranty is only 90 days I'm worried about paying this much for a problem that I haven't caused - especially since it seems to have started after the recent update. Every patch seems to fix some issues but then causes new ones. I'm not sure what to do now. 😢
