The only company who breaks a phone with a software upgrade. Happened with my S9 several years ago, now my S22 Ultra which is in a pristine condition. Now they want a warranty that's expired to validate my proof of purchase.

Been there and done that, and the screen is still with a pink line. Have a 8 Yr old Huawei mate 20 pro, and it's still working- but a less than 3 year old phone is having display issues.
