Samsung agreed to provide a replacement as a goodwill. There was a good turn around from samsung. I already have the screen replaced and I picked it up from service center within 2 hours after I got the replacement confirmation from samsung.

I am facing the same issue since yesterday. Customer Support says I have to pay 11500 to get this fixed as the approval for free replacement was rejected by samsung. This is strange as the issue is clearly a hardware one cause due to a software updat...

Did the service centre representative agree to replace without any questions asked or you had to email samsung to get approval?
