Not really sure when my last year's Galaxy phone will getOneUI 8 but just all iPhones in home from 2019 iPhone 11 to 15 pro updated to iOS 26.1 which was released 2-3 hours ago.

The later they send an update, the better it is. Initial updates were causing problems worldwide, so they had to block the rollout.It's better to have a working phone than having a bricked one.
All these entry / mid range phones are pretty much the same.If your current device runs android 14/15/16, there is no point in upgrading. Save that money now and buy something better later.
It is a budget phone having a FullHD+ screen that is capable of displaying only 1080x2340 pixels. consumer 4K is 3840x2190 pixels. It can not display the remaining 2/3rd of the 4K image? So what point is there for having 4k streaming if it can't show...
