I'm using an A-series device, it doesn't, it just changes colour based on the wallpaper.I think the Animations are available on flagship devices, I may be wrong though.
The polarised film used in the privacy screen protector affects the fingerprint scanner, if you want to use such screen protector forget about the fingerprint security function unless you get the one with a fingerprint cut-out.
