I've temporary solution to this,If you're using gesture navigation, swipe up from the button mid of the screen real fast 4-5 times, you'll land on the lockscreen. Unlock and it works fine.
Earlier it used to go bright, but after upgrade to beta, even I feel the brightness issue. I've already raised the bug. Hope, this gets fixed in future updates
You can set to swipe diagonally from either of the sides of the phone to pull notification panel Just like how you do to navigate back (but diagonally) and that too from any portion of the display edge. (Use good lock module)
We don't want. If you want better one handed mode. Use one handed operation plus good lock module and use diagonal swipe to show notifications panel. It has made my experience awesome.
