Instead of long press, do short press. You will see three horizontal lines. Press that icon. It will show call log for that particular number. Long press the phone number that appears on the top. It gives you copy option.

Are you using authorized charger? If you aren't, it might cause the problem of heating and screen issues. I just updated to UI 6.1 amd it's working fine.
