this is because many albums are created by apps, not just DCIM or Pictures folders. so you need to open your gallery on phone, go to the picture you want, press info and you'll know path to which folder it exists in, then from your pc, copy it to you...
do you have the google app? that's the one you need. once you download that (if you don't have it)open it and go to settings then set up the assistant from there. it's not a separate app for the assistant
