Oneui 8.5 will release first for new s26 series first in February then in march or april s25 s24 will get .after that older models such as s23 s22 series.

Did you enabled system apps ?

No its not controlled.I suggest ypu try do a factory reset first it should bring back everything by default.

Go in settings>apps>enable system apps> search for play store and see if it's disabled.Try factory reset and see if solves and bring back the play storeIf not then last option is flash complete firmware via odinGood luck
