Hey, I was also facing issue with Mirrorlink, but somehow I made it to work. First go to Application->Samsung Mirrorlink 1.1 and clear data and cache. Then try. Let me know if it didnt work. I will tell the next possible step.
Update: I installed a old version of Samsung car mode app and now, the other apps works while driving. So it is an issue with the latest version of car mode app. Samsung, please fix it.
