Go to settings, type permission manager. Then find contacts and disable it for messages and contact app. That is a stupid way to stop contact storage storage from draining your battery. Makes me feel like my first Nokia 5120, instead of a S24 ultra w...

Had this before with my S22 ultra. Now I'm having the same exact problem with my S24 ultra.  Contact storage drains 15% of battery daily regardless of my turning off contact sync, freezing the service, etc...
