I was afraid that it's planned obsolescence, a way to force us to buy a new phone, or just an efect of a update. Mine started after the March update. And it's worse because I'm forced to use while charging.
The lawsuit is a good idea.
The March update cause all kind of damage to our phones.
People complaining about screen issues, battery and your problem with wifi chip.
Ohh, and my phone is freezing too and rebooting and just like you, the only way to stop it is by plugging the charger too.

Z SeriesMy battery is weak, and guess in witch month i found out "March".
And since then, the degradation level it reached after the update is unreal.
Takes months to reach this level of battery degradation after the problem is diagnosed.

Z SeriesI've noticed a lot of complaints on this app have been caused by the March update(myself included) so I'd suggest if you could be patient for the April update to hopefully fix what's broken(that's what worked for me). Although I am as concerned as you in terms of your battery since the software is causing problems with the hardware.

Z SeriesI'll try that.
But at this point there's nothing I can do.
The April update didn't fix anything.
My phone now shutsdown in 80%.
The March update really fckd up my phone.
It anticipated in months the things I'm experiencing now.
The back of my phone is bending due to a battery swelling, found out an hour ago.
And the worst part is that there's not a Samsung technical support in my country.
Have to save money to travel more than 400Km/250miles to a town that has better technical support for flagship devices. That caught me out of guard.
