You might have come across articles saying there is now a WhatsApp app developed for Wear OS 3.5 watches. It's available but only if you are using WhatsApp Beta then you can install it but beware of the battery drain. It consumes alot of battery just like the screen even up to 10%. You are better off not installing it and getting the whatsapp notifications and responding from it like a notification on the phone. It's nice to use but just know it drains the battery. You can even see pictures and multiple chats, respond and chat via voice memo or typing.
