Watch 5 Samsung Pay issue

Galaxy Watch 5 44mm non-LTE received One UI Watch 5 here in India which introduced Samsung Pay to the Watch itself. When trying to setup samsung pay through the phone, it shows please update your watch to the latest software, however the watch is running onto the latest software. I'm unable to figure out how to setup samsung pay on my watch. Anyone with the same problem or any solution?

As per your query, we request you kindly reset your watch to resolve your issue.

Open the Apps screen on the watch.
Swipe the screen and tap on General.
Reset.

Try to set up Samsung Pay
1 On your smartphone, launch the Galaxy Wearable app.
2 Tap Watch settings → Apps → App settings → Samsung Pay and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your card registration

In case the issue still occurs. Please visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
