Watch 5 Pro - Cannot use Google wallet

Google wallet just launched in India last week. Its working perfectly on my s23 ultra but when trying to use it on my watch 5 pro it has some issues. After installing it opens normally and when we click on add cards, it says to continue on phone. But on phone the google play service opens and closes in a flash. After we close the app on watch and open it the next time then this message saying 'Cannot use Google wallet on this device' is displayed (see screenshot).

I know this I was talking in contex of India support.
Even though they both have different apps , the implementation of secured nfc features required for tap to pay payments is totally dependent on OEM as long as it follows the standard.
So samsung watches will always fever samsung Eco system products
Googlw will need to use some of samsung piece of code to get their Wallet working.

The same would have applied if samsung wanted to get their wallet on pixel watch.

Just check right now. Mine is also disabled for some reason

But the fact is google Wallet. will always use samsung Pay in the background for card transactions
As I can see, the transaction I made from google Wallet in the samsung wallet as well

My samsung wallet works fine. Just cant add any indian cards. Only UAE banks 🥲. Other functions are working

I think the issue is when we try to add card, it is trying to add payment cards. But in the new google wallet india app they removed the payments cards section (because GPay exists in India). So its trying to open an app page that does not exist on phone. I tried on other India. Phones too. Same issue. Most likely a bug .
