No Payment Forums for Watch 4 in India

It's sad to see that such an amazing smartwatch has locked the feature(along with ECG and BP) for few regions including India. 

1. Why is locked?

2. When can we expect it to get unlocked?

3. Is there any to overcome this for now.

Hi,
The reason why these features aren't available is due to the certification process for using those health and diagnostic tool. Every country has their own policies and restrictions.

Samsung hasn't gotten an approval from the Indian Government yet which authorizes the use of these tools/ features.

It is expected to be available before the end of this year.

If you need a workaround to get this right away, you can side load an apk that removes the country restriction.

I got this information from a Samsung Store and also through customer support chat.

Currently Both Certain Health and Payment services are disabled in India as Samsung doesn't have license to operate these services .

There's not really a expected time , here it could happen tomorrow or could take a year

If you don't want the restrictions then you would need to Change the firmware to a different country
