Happy to report that my Galaxy Watch 7 44mm BT version is delivering some absolutely insane numbers.

It just lost 30% in almost 23 hours of usage. Would easily last 3 days at this rate. This is the best Android Wear OS watch I've EVER used.

Here are my settings:
AOD: Off
Continuous HR monitoring: On
Continuous Stress Monitoring: On
Gestures: Off
NFC: Off
Sleep Tracking: On
SpO2 While sleeping: On
Body Temperature while sleeping: Off
Wifi: On

Haven't really tried any workouts on this yet which involve GPS but even with them, it would be a comfortable 2 and half days of battery life I believe.

WELL DONE SAMSUNG!!!

I bought a GW7 44mm BT, I'm having battery drain at 2 to 3% an hour BT off, AOD on, HR every 10m, location off & when I connect it I lose 5 to 6% every hour. No workout or heavy use, light use/no use at all.
Btw Did you update your watch? Or you're getting this battery life out of box?

AOD seems to be the major culprit here in your case. It's a major factor in battery life. I've been getting the same great battery life before and after the update. No major difference. What phone are you using it with? I've read somewhere that pairing these Samsung watches with non Samsung phones can drain a little more battery. Try switching off AOD and Gestures if they're not essential to you. Oh and disable 'Hey Google' too, that's a big culprit.

Hey, thank you for the reply.
I am using it with S24 ultra, and I have disabled all the gestures & hey google. I'll try disabling AOD.
Also I have noticed huge gaps in my HRV readings. I don't what's causing it? Any idea about that.
I have given my watch at Service center, they're saying that they cannot find any issues although I've sent them the screenshot of the HRV readings gaps & battery log maintained by me.

HRV reading gaps or even SpO2 reading gaps I guess are because of watch fit and position on our hand when we're sleeping. I've seen those gaps myself a few times but not everyday. Don't go for a tighter fit but try pushing the watch a little higher up your hand away from the wrist before sleeping. Not much, but just a cm.

Hey, i used to get gaps daily, but anyways I got a replacement. Wore the new one for sleep tracking last night, the gaps are still there. 😕
I'll try wearing the watch a bit higher on the arm just like you said.
Thank you! 😃

This is from a research paper. Hope this helps. Adding to this, sometimes hair on your hand also plays a role in wrong/missing readings apparently. I've used Moto 360 Sport, Amazfit T-Rex Pro, Apple Watch SE and Galaxy Watch 7 so far. The higher position away from the wrist always helped me get accurate data on all these watches. The watch should never interfere with the popped up wrist bone that we have on the corner of our wrists. 1726167383107.jpg
