NO , I have postpaid airtel sim but still I cannot enable esim in my watch. it is always getting error of "http://es1.airtel.in/samsung-entitlement/UNDEFINED" could not be reached.

Only Jio works for samsung watches.

I just activated the eSIM in my Galaxy Watch 4.

It happened during the watch activation process itself. It was seamless.

I have Airtel Postpaid.

Hi Reindeer,

Yes, you are absolutely right. I am using Airtel Postpaid and I am still getting the above error while I am pairing the LTE with my One Plus 6 Mobile phone.

However, it's been a while since you haven't posted anything yet. Did you come across any solution for the above error on Samsung Galaxy Wearable App?

I have shuttled various Airtel Stores and there is hardly a person who understands this. However, with the below steps, it worked for me.

Steps: I inserted my Airtel Postpaid sim into my brother's Samsung Mobile and it paired like a charm. But again when I switched back the sim to my One Plus, it shows the same old issue, and also noticed a network detection error on Samsung since the sim was removed from it.

I believe once paired the carrier will fetch and match the device IDs of your mobile and watch to work seamlessly and once you remove the sim (in my case from Samsung mobile) it did not allow me to call from the watch (because by then I shifted my sim to my One Plus 6).

Please let me know if you have come across any resolution for the same.

Thanks,

Sid.

1. A phone with esim compatibility is a must to be able to use same number on watch and phone.

2. Mobile plan in watch cannot be activated without esim phone.

3. If you have physical sim and want to use dedicated number on Samsung only, Jio can register your watch IMEI and EID on their network and you can use mobile network/calls from Smart watch.

Physical SIM on Phone will be de-activated.
