I'm extremely disappointed with the quality and reliability of my Galaxy Watch 4.

Today, while wearing the watch, my phone rang and suddenly the watch screen turned completely white. This is the second time I'm facing the exact same issue.

The first time it happened was just a year after I bought it. I had to visit the service center and ended up paying over ₹5,000 to replace the display.

And now, exactly one year later, the display has turned white again, making the watch unusable.

Despite being fully charged, up to date with the latest software, and handled with care, this keeps happening. It’s really frustrating and disappointing. I’ve lost trust in Samsung’s wearable products.

Honestly, I was considering buying the new Galaxy Watch Ultra, but after these repeated failures, I’ve decided against it. I can't justify spending more money on a product that can't even last properly for a couple of years.

Samsung, this is not what we expect from a premium product.

My watch 4 classic display was gone in 6 months only (orange display)

Totally agree with you. Many users are reporting similar display issues — white screen, orange tint, dead pixels — clearly not isolated cases.

Samsung should acknowledge this as a manufacturing defect and offer free repairs or replacements, even beyond warranty. That’s the only way to retain customer trust.

If premium devices start failing like this within months, and customers are forced to pay again for repairs, it’s really unfair. Hope Samsung takes responsibility and acts before more loyal users walk away.

At least after warranty out extend support if needed to 1 year more

Absolutely! That’s a very reasonable expectation.

Samsung should at least offer extended support or free service for one more year, especially in cases like this where it’s clearly a manufacturing defect.

When so many users are facing the same screen/display issue, it’s not just bad luck — it’s a flaw in the product. Samsung should take responsibility and repair affected watches free of cost, even after the warranty has expired.

This is the only way to rebuild trust and show customers that the brand stands by its quality.

Thank you for the response.

But I’ve already been through this process earlier, when I faced the same issue in February 2024. The service center inspected the watch and said the display needs to be replaced, quoting a cost of around ₹6.5K — including parts and service charges — just because the warranty had expired.

Now, the same issue has happened again, and it’s very clear that this is not an isolated case. Many users are reporting similar screen/display problems, which strongly suggests a manufacturing defect.

Just redirecting us to the service center again isn’t enough. Samsung should take responsibility and offer free repairs, even after warranty, in such cases. That’s the only way to retain customer trust and uphold the brand’s reputation for quality.
