Camera issue between 3x to 5x a Manufacturing defect?

Ok so there are a lot of people having this issue of image shift which is basically a blury effect or a transition effect when u switch between 3x to 5x.

Samsung gives u explanation as since the lens are placed at different location this effect is seen. Atleast to me this was told when i contacted samsung for the same.

But the explanation doesnt seem to be genuine.

Here is the video I am attaching of the image shift issue I am facing in my samsung s24 ultra.

Clearly when you zoom in there is an image shift and focus effect seen. However when you zoom out it is not so prominent.

If the argument of samsung is considered on the basis of logics then this issue should be observed in both senses of zoom in and zoom out. However it is clearly seen during zoom in only.

So this is 100% some kind of a software or hardware issue they seem not to accept and provide illogical explanatons .

There has ro be logical explanation.

Also this issue is not common and not seen in all devices. Samsung must replace the defective devices and not cheat people incase there is a batch of devices that has this defect.

This transition effect ruins the entire video as the effect gets recorded ...

Samsung? LET THE TRUTH BE OUT PLZ.

Rs.1.39lakhs is no joke.

As per your concern, we want to inform you that the Ultra-wide, Wide, and telecamera lenses are physically located in different positions, there is also a difference in view angle, similar to eye parallax.

Thus, changing the zoom ratio leads to a camera lens shift which in turn causes a subtle change in view angle. Also, when changing the zoom ratio quickly, the preview screen may appear slightly disconnected as it takes time to switch between the Ultra-wide, Wide, and telecamera lenses.

If you move the zoom slowly, the screen transition becomes smoother.

Why is it that only some devices have this issue and not all devices have this issue?... Also if ur logic is true then why is the shift observed during zoom in and not zoom out?

I went to croma and checked their demo piece there is no such shift of image. I Compared it side by side and also reported this to your service center. Stop fooling customers.

Also why havent you mentioned this major defect prior to selling.

I will want a replacement or a refund.... and that is what i am following up with ur service center.

All devices, including mine, are experiencing this issue. Those who claim their phones are unaffected are simply unable to identify the problem.

I would have believed that but when i visited croma and checked Demo piece it had absolutely no issue and the samsung support also agreed that demo piece do not have this issue... this was very strange.

Don't worry most of the devices has the same problem. Samsung would fix it via update.

The worry is not the fix coming or not.. But a feeling of buying a product from a company that is lying to its customers and not even acknowledging and accepting the issue, instead justifying it as a part of the design n feature. This makes it into the category of rogue companies. This is the difference between apple and samsung. Apple simply recalls all their devices with a defect even if the defect is know later years after manufacturing. But samsung by Galaxy AI as presented to be one of the rogue companies focused only to eaen money by selling low substandard products and worstly justifying it ... as if the customers spwnding 1.4lakhs are ordinary idyuts...

Shame on them...
