perform reset apps prefrences
settings>applications>click at 3 dots and select reset apps prefrences
or
check for recent WhatsApp update
or
uninstall WhatsApp and install it again
or
also check, if recently installed any unnecessary apps are causing this issue

After following the below given troubleshooting steps if issue still exist kindly once also coordinated with the Whats app application provider.
If the issue still exists, register your concern in Samsung members app (Open Samsung members app > click on “+“icon > send feedback > Error report/Ask Questions).
