Why did I purchase Galaxy A71?

Dear Samsung,

I don't know what is the problem but, since I have purchased Galaxy A71 I've found that you guyz do not really giving any good update on this device. I spent 29 Grands on this phone, which is actually a huge amount for a middle class youth. I think you consider us an **bleep** who just bought a phone of your company and get updates named as " SECURITY UPDATE" and when you learn more to know about the update you will find that there are only 6 different types of "SECURITY UPDATE". This device is 6.7" approx and you guyz are not going to give the android 12L update on this.

You know, you guyz are making me feel like I have spent 29 thousands on a **bleep** and I must switch to those underrated mobile companies who call themselves your competitors.

I know that, but I was talking about Google's new update for large screen devices "ANDROID 12 L". Where samsung didn't enlist A70, A71, A72, A80 and A90. All these models have a screen size of 6.7"

Have you even seen the android 12 update schedule published in October-November previous year? If not then check it A71 is scheduled to get android 12 in April but you may get it earlier...so why talk trash about not getting android 12 when you don't even know the update schedule??

Android 12L is for tabs to get the more out of that large screen...that isn't for phones...even Samsung flagships haven't got that and you want that on a midrange phone even before flagships? Nice..👌

I think you didn't read that blog carefully. It was written that all samsung phones with large screen like, all The Samsung's Tablets and The Z series phones. Here comes my issue, the screen size of GALAXY Z FLIP is 6.7" and GALAXY A71's screen size is 6.7". I think those are same numbers. Then why Samsung is not providing ANDROID 12L update to Samsung A71

Maybe One Ui 4.1 that got launched today with s22 series is based on android 12L who knows...
But A71 will most probably get directly One Ui 4.1 skipping 4.0 just like previous year when it got 3.1 skipping 3.0

I honestly don't know why did you buy A71 😑. If you don't know why you bought it how can we say it for you, we can't read your thoughts. 😓

Anyway try to understand that every device made by every brand has a lifecycle, OS based lifecycle n hardware based lifecycle, which means the company will provide you OS n security software updates for a "CERTAIN" number of years. For old samsung devices it is 3 OS updates+ 4 years security updates, so you'll be getting 3 android updates +4 years security updates. That's how everything works on Samsung land, n those Chinese companies will give u cheap phones that will sell your data to China n they only will give you less updates that too very late 😭.
If you want absolute long term support buy Iphones that's the best idea in my opinion if u r disappointed with ur device. 😊 🤝🏼
