Which connector to use to connect M51 to PC

I have recently purchased a M51 and want to connect the phone to my PC to transfer files and photos. Since my PC does not have a USB-C Female port, will this connector be fine for this purpose?

Yes , this should work. You can also buy (if cheaper) Type A to Type C cable.
