Modes
Modes help you stay focused and avoid distractions by automatically turning on settings like Do Not Disturb, Power Saving, and Grayscale based on your activity. For example, you can set a Sleep mode to activate from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, enabling Do Not Disturb and Power Saving.
Routines
Routines activate when certain conditions are met and help you accomplish specific tasks. For instance, you can set a routine to automatically turn on Bluetooth and Dolby Atmos when you open YouTube or Netflix. You can also create custom routines with various triggers and actions.
How to Set Up Modes and Routines
Access Modes and Routines: Go to Settings > Modes and Routines.
Add to Apps Screen: Tap the three vertical dots (More options), then tap Settings. Toggle the switch next to Show Modes and Routines on Apps screen.
Create a Routine: Tap the Routines tab, then tap the Discover icon. Choose a routine category and customize it.
Create a Custom Routine: Tap If, select a trigger, then tap Then and choose an action. Customize additional settings and tap Save.
