Unable to change background effect for Portrait Images

I clicked a Portrait Image but I am unable to change its effect in Gallery. I get the below error.

Can someone Help me resolve this?

Open settings
Apps
Click on 3 bars (shown in 1st screenshot)
Enable show system apps
Click on Ok
Then search Portrait
Then click on it

You can try giving storage permission to camera app.

Enable show system apps
Click on Ok
Then search Portrait
Then click on it

Go to settings>apps>select show system apps>scroll down to portrait>check all permissions

The Issue was related to storage permission itself. For some reason the two buttons which are supposed to be at the bottom of the pop-up were invisible.

Tried clicking on the bottom right side of the pop-up and it took me to storage permissions.
