😂 many other smart phone providers have included them in their OS bundles. But samsung users are relying on third party apps from playstore/galaxy store.

I know many chinese brands have this and many more. I just wanted to point out that Apple, Samsung, Google,Nokia and Motorola doesn't have this. All these brands have some other crucial benefits which Chinese ones doesn't have, starting with security and privacy. (I know moto is owned by Lenovo but servers are still in US). So everything has some positives and negatives.

At the end of the day as a consumer I/we / many samsung users do not have this feature.

Note that moto phones do not have bloatware and moto has almost pure google stock android experience . ( I already know the other pros and cons ) here the main stress is that Y samsung has not implemented it even after many users request and when users are awaiting for this feature instead on relying on third-party apps.

May be the majority doesn't need it? I for one never used it even on my earlier device which had it.

If the majority won't need it then there would be no post threads related to the same. People are well aware of this and they r using third-party apps that's you U won't hear lot of noise. IF your phone had the feature and using/ not using is up to u. Again there are lot of users who are looking for this feature. 😀

Well, only people who has demands and are unsatisfied speaks up usually. Satisfied people usually enjoy their product silently. Very few cares to give a positive feedback without being asked. If you decides the mentality of the majority by the posts here, you will come to the conclusion that 99 percent of Samsung users hate samsung!
