With rising prices for smartphones Samsung should reconsider updating it's software update policy to 3+1 years (from Current 2+1 years) at least for their flagship devices.
Flagship devices from Samsung just don't seem worthy of their prices anymore.
I bought Galaxy Note 8 approx 2.7 years back for 67000. Already completed 2 years major updates cycle. Now if I want to upgrade my phone then it just doesn't seem worthy to buy another samsung flagship. It's as if I will put such a big amount for just 2 more years. The major updates by Google that we receive from Samsung also comes late by almost 6 months till it hit our devices. So already we are devoid of 1 major update because the moment Google announces the update, Samsung will provide it, by making few of their changes, after nearly 6 months and your phone will fall outside update policy term if you have completed 2 years time.
Samsung makes one of the best devices in the business but their latest offerings and considering the prices at which these are offered just doesn't justify buying them at such a hefty price.
Samsung should reconsider the other aspects a user thinks are also important while upgrading to a new pricey phone. Not everyone buy a phone just for the sake of experiencing latest technology. Some buy it for getting best of the experience if they are paying best of the prices that best of the smartphones are asking.
