Tech TalkMy S21 ultra phone has been around for 3 years and 6 months. I never dropped, scratched and updated my phone but still a green line suddenly appears on my phone screen. I complained Samsung about this issue multiple times, but in the end Samsung wants a quality check on my phone which was a water test report from service centre. Despite my phone failing in the test, they still gave me a free replacement for my S21 ultra screen because of a green line issue. I just paid the GST and labour charges to Samsung, which is approximately Rs 3800.
In addition to this i also want to tell here that write an email to the CEO desk, which is available on the Samsung website in the support section, and include your entire case in that email. You will receive a call from their end. But you just have to note one point: you should not agree to their points that the screen should not be replaced free of cost as it is a manufacturing defect. In addition, you must write an email to the CEO's desk multiple times until they decline your claim.
I also wrote emails three times to the CEO's desk and also to the service head. I reached out to the Samsung support center and created a forum for my case in the Samsung member app, but no one accepted my claim. In the end, I sent a fourth email to Samsung's CEO's desk, and they acknowledged my claim. The whole process took me 25 days to replace my screen without any cost.

Tech TalkIs there any green line now in your device?
Is your device updated to the latest software? If not please update your device ASAP if green line occured after updation samsung promised to give free screen and battery replacement till September 30. As per their T&C there should be no physical damages/liquid damages and the device should be purchased within 3 years. If all these criteria fulfilled they will replace it without any delay or asking inappropriate questions or excuse to reject.

Tech TalkI wanted to let you know that I didn't update my phone after December 2021. My handset screen has already been replaced without charge by them. The amount they charged me was around Rs 3800. The amount that was not charged to me is roughly Rs 18,000 or so.
The quality test they did on my handset was water test. For your information, I want to make one thing clear: no phone is water-resistant after usage of 18 to 24 months. Samsung guidelines also contain this information. In order to make it water-resistant again, the glue part must be replaced. Another thing is that Samsung cannot reject your claim just from that your phone does not pass the water test. As I already mentioned above. Instead of my phone failing in water test, they replaced my screen at no cost.
