After the recent software update I noticed that the my phones hotapot wasn't sharing internet with my other devices. To be more specific all devices that connect to mine display the message "connected without Internet". I have to live in a remote location for the duration of my assignment and I depend on my mobile data for most of my work. I would really appreciate it if anyone could share ideas to fix this issue.

Perform reset network settings once and check data saver option

for reset network settings

settings>general management>select reset>click on reset network settings

and for data saver or daily data limit check connections>data usage

hey Sidhabi thank you for your reply, I've tried what you said and it did not work... so i tried tinkering with some settings and I realized it wasn't working due to this feature. My friend exhausted his network data and had his hotspot on as well. The Wi-Fi sharing was the one that was causing problems... thanks for helping tho ... I appreciate it

When I try to turn on mobile hotspot, I get a message saying-All apps associated with this action have turned off, blocked or not installed.  Cannot seem to find a solution.  Android 11 UI 3.1

G981U1ES2DUE2   XAR/XAR/XAA

Any help would be much appreciated.  Tethering does not work either.
