No. Phones generally trickle charge once it reaches 100%. It will harm if you trickle continuously for long run without discharging the battery.

No not at all..now a days smartphones are smart enough to tackle such overcharging stuffs..

No, today's phones are capable for handling overcharging. It is totally normal. Don't repeat these too much because this may decrease the battery backup slightly.

No there is an intelligent power management system in the battery and phone itself.

However, charge control is part of the portable device. when the battery is charged to 100% , the power management integrated circuits (PMICs) which are very intelligent manages the flow of charge.
Factors such as recharge cycles, aging, and temperature can degrade the performance of the lithium-ion battery over time.
