Hey Samsung team, I've got a suggestion for the S26 Ultra. If the S Pen has a curve, it pop out if you put it in the wrong way. So, how about adding a software feature that gives a pop-up if it's inserted incorrectly, telling you to put it in the right way
Correct me if I'm wrong, but afaik, the S Pen in the S26 Ultra doesn't have a gyroscope, because it lacks all the bluetooth features the previous pens used to have, and to determine if the orientation is correct or not, a gyro is necessary, so it can't be added using an update.
You're right that the S Pen doesn't have Bluetooth or a gyroscope anymore. My suggestion wasn't based on detecting the pen's orientation electronically. I was thinking that if Samsung ever redesigns the S Pen with a slight curve or another physical feature, the phone might be able to detect incorrect insertion using the existing slot or charging contacts. If that's not possible with the current hardware, then it would need a hardware change in a future model.
