Our community is brimming with ideas through which we can make your Galaxy experience better! Share your suggestions directly with our teams through Innovation Lab. Your feedback will be scrutinized to produce possible improvements in customer experience.
This week, we would like to look into Accessibility. Samsung Galaxy phones come with accessibility settings to help those with limited sight or hearing difficulties. For example, you can make the phone read messages aloud or light up whenever it detects a startling noise. There are also accessibility settings and customizations available for those who struggle with interaction and dexterity.
So, the topics are:
1. Accessibility: Feedback on experiences with accessibility features and suggestions.
All you need to do is:
1. Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
2. Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
3. Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject
We will take a note of all your suggestions! This topic will be open till 26th May.
Check out innovation lab#53 topics here.
We can’t wait for your innovative ideas!
Cheers

Tech Talk1. Accessibility is not only a responsibility, but a reward. By designing and developing websites, tools, and technologies that are accessible to people with disabilities, we can ensure that we reach a wider audience and increase our impact. Providing alternative formats and options can benefit not only people with disabilities, but also people who have different preferences, needs, and situations for example:
* A person with low vision can use text resizing, contrast adjustment, or magnification to read the web content more easily. This benefits non-disabled people who may have difficulty reading small or low-contrast text, such as on a mobile device or in a bright environment.
* A person who is blind can use a screen reader or a braille display to access the web content and interact with the web elements. This benefits non-disabled people who may prefer to listen to the web content instead of reading it, such as when they are driving, multitasking, or tired.
* A person who is deaf can use captions, transcripts, or sign language to access the audio and video content on the web. This benefits non-disabled people who may not be able to hear the web content due to background noise, poor audio quality, or language barriers.
Please like if u r agree.
2. We need to make every single thing accessible to every single person with a disability because accessibility is not a cost, but an investment. By designing and developing websites, tools, and technologies that are accessible to people with disabilities, we can ensure that we enhance our brand, drive innovation, and extend our market reach.

God knows how many of the 29
crore people with disabilities are actually taking
the help of such technology. But
disabled as well as senior citizens,
patients are in great need of assistive
technology....
When
it comes to the empowerment
of youths, ease of access to
the public sector
comes first. Today, 20
percent of people in the world use
some form of assistive technology in their
daily lives. This means that around 29 crore
people in our country are believed to be
using assistive technology (i.e. devices, services,
etc. based on such technology) in their daily
activities. Considering rural India, lack of
education, poverty, etc., God knows how many
people with disabilities out of 29 crore people
will actually take the help of such technology.
But the disabled as well as senior citizens and
patients are in great need of assistive
technology. It is important to make it affordable to
common people and there government
Role and performance are important.
Broadly speaking, the subject is
accessibility for the disabled
ICT for the visually impaired means
information technology, (communication and technology)
i.e. 'visual' (accessibility in the virtual field is
very important.) It includes their daily activities,
education, communication, communication

and guidelines of ICT accessibility 2023 Govt
It has also been applied to the private
sector. But Ashutosh Singhal, a 21-year-old visually
impaired young worker from Delhi, says,
"The government created 'Sugmya Bharat
App' three years ago, as a platform to
raise complaints about 'accessibility' (problems
related to accessibility) in the public sector,
but this app itself has various accessibility
issues and no one is ready to pay
attention to it. The language selection section
of the app is not accessible. The division
comes up, even with the choice of
language. The 'screen corporability' and
'audio option' problems also end up
with 'dark mode' not working. When
educated youngsters like Ashutosh move
forward to exercise their rights inspired by
the Disability Rights Act, 2016, the tools
they need to overcome their disability and move
forward, if a government app like
e-District is riddled with such issues
and complains about it, there will be a lasting
response. No. If this is the case,
then how can there be empowerment,
rights-based rescue of the disabled?
That this is only a mirage of rights-based
empowerment on paper
Ashutosh says the main problem is that
we still see accessibility as a mere
responsibility. Broadly speaking, accessibility is both a
reward and an opportunity. If these
services are enhanced by developing accessible/
useful websites, devices and technologies for
the disabled, they will reach out to an even larger
segment. If alternative services are made available
for each such service, it is not
only for differently abled but also for other people
They can be used according to the situation
and needs. Indeed, those who think in
terms of trade and business should think simply.
He means that people with various
disabilities are not aliens from the moon and
the sun. They are all flesh and blood
like us, with affections and feelings like
us. They have daily needs just like us. Due to
the expanding use of education and technology,
they also have access to money and wealth;
But when there is no access to land in the
public sector, they have to depend on others
even for all their personal needs. A fresh
start should also be made by the business
class who do not think of building a simple
ramp for their shop, pharmacy.

If you open
the
doors of the brain
that is all-
