Our community is brimming with ideas through which we can make your Galaxy experience better! Share your suggestions directly with our teams through Innovation Lab. Your feedback will be scrutinized to produce possible improvements in customer experience.

This week, we would like to look into Accessibility. Samsung Galaxy phones come with accessibility settings to help those with limited sight or hearing difficulties. For example, you can make the phone read messages aloud or light up whenever it detects a startling noise. There are also accessibility settings and customizations available for those who struggle with interaction and dexterity.

So, the topics are:

 1. Accessibility: Feedback on experiences with accessibility features and suggestions.

All you need to do is:

    1. Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
    2. Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
    3. Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject

We will take a note of all your suggestions! This topic will be open till 26th May.

I am Partially Blind. Samsung My Files App isn't accessible for Screen Reader (Samsung TalkBack) users like me because i swipe right if list has 20 items and only 10 appears Samsung TalkBack focus does not go on the 11th item. Please follow the Indian Government Accessibility guidelines and WCAG for making your app accessible for all including all 21 disabilities. 285 millions/28.5 crore Visually Impaired exist across the World according to the World Health Organisation.

#InnovationLab Samsung should seperate Samsung TalkBack update from Samsung One UI update due to it Samsung TalkVack Users experience become worse because we have to wait for One UI update which roles-out slowlyy like Samsung Galaxy A33 did not get update yet. In the nutshell Samsung TalkBack update must independent from One UI and any Secuirity Update.

Whenever i receiv any call that time Samsung TalkBack does not work as well as no audio come and go during Google Meeting since a long time. This issue happens even when call rings. This issue mainly happening with Samsung Mobiles. I have all the latest updates and I have already tried all the trouble shootings but no improvement.

In Samsung One UI 6.0's Samsung TalkBack 14.0 update Samsung TalkBack Cursor is not working properly when We are swiping right sometimes its focus is going on the previous item instead of next item and its focus isn't also going on the selected previous page's item when we are going on the back page.
The second issue is After selecting any WhatsApp message TalkBack is announcing an Unable Button in between message and Sender Name in WhatsApp. WhatsApp last updated on 18 December 2023 I was not facing any issue unless I downloaded Samsung One UI 6.0 today in my Samsung Galaxy A33 5G.
I have tried all the troubleshooting but no improvement is happening, I also asked from others Samsung TalkBack Users they are also facing the same issue in Samsung 14.0 version so these are the bugs of Samsung TalkBack 14.0 version. Kindly fix These issues as soon as possible.

Samsung Switch App can not take backup of Samsung Accessibility features like: Samsung TalkBack, Samsung Bixby Vision and Live Transcribe etc.

I have set never for automatic app update even though app update automatically.
Can't see the recentally updated apps.
If we select helpfull button under any feedback one like decreases.
Always 5 stars already selected while giving any feedback instead of 0 stars.
Shows wrong last update info and Version specially for Samsung TalkBack App.
So many developer contact Email IDs and Phone Number don't work for Indian Users specially Samsung Accessibility related Apps like Samsung TalkBack, Samsung TTS and Samsung Bixxxby Vision etc..
App Rating is not available for asking: How much This App Accessible for Disabled Users.
Don't get any notification when someone click on Helpfull for our feedback.

I hope These issues will fixed soon.

Samsung although other Samsung Users and I am writing to you (Samsung Company) about Samsung Accessibility issues since one year on various platforms but no much improvement happend so far. Kindly vissit the below link and fix the mentioned issues neither be ready for the legal action.

I am Blind. My friends and I have already reported almost all Samsung Accessibility issues on Samsung Members App: https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Tech-Talk/Innovation-Lab-54-Accessibility/td-p/13862814?src=Shar..., Twitter/X, Emails to many Samsung Officers, Galaxy Store Ratings, Customer Care and Service Centre unlimited times but no solution so far. This is very disheartening response for so many users like us who used to perchase Samsung Products for its Accessibility but now suffering due to Samsung Inaccessibility and Inactive Behaviour towards its Persons With Disabilities Users.
