M11 doesn't have in-built screen recorder.

M series doesn't have in-built screen recorder except M51.
I also use kimcy, and it is easy to use.
My device is M31s

Its because samsung feature discrimination by not providing native screen recorder. Provide feedback to samsung to give it in next update.
