How to keep whatsapp offline using data or WiFi??

Is it possible that we can turn on data or WiFi and still be offline for whatsapp??

In samsung phones,there is no official option to turn off data/wifi for specific apps,either disable whatsapp for sometime or directly reply from quick notification panel,this won't show others your online status
Or try apps like samsung max or other similar apps
