Green Line Problem After One UI 7 Update

Several users have reported the green line issue on their Samsung Galaxy devices after installing the One UI 7 update. This has especially affected models like:

Galaxy S21 FE

Galaxy S22 Ultra

Galaxy S23 series


This issue appears to be hardware-related, possibly triggered by heat or stress during the update process. Users on Reddit and other forums have confirmed that the green line suddenly appeared after the update, even without any physical damage.

Samsung’s Free Screen Replacement Program

Samsung India has responded by launching or extending a free screen replacement program, which is currently valid until September 30, 2025.

Galaxy S21 series

Galaxy S21 FE (SM-G990B/E)

Galaxy S22 Ultra


Note: The standard Galaxy S22 and S23 models are not officially included yet.

Conditions:

Phone must not be older than 3 years

No signs of physical or water damage

Original purchase invoice required

Green line must be visible on the screen


Also, some service centers may charge a labor fee, even if the screen panel itself is free.

After connecting they said like samsung doesn't offer for s23 ultra. What can i do now? And one more think a one month before the update my mobile back panel was broked. Can anyone help me out this how to resolve this?

I am writing to formally register a serious complaint regarding my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra device. Following the most recent software update, I have encountered significant and concerning issues with the phone’s touchscreen functionality.

Specifically, the physical touch input is no longer responding as expected. In addition to this, I am experiencing persistent ghost touch issues — the screen reacts erratically without any physical interaction. Either flash your phone to 6.1 or live with bugs. Some of the bugs will be sorted in coming monthly updates.
