See the 1st update starts with BUK5 instead of AUK5 which is weird. So this might be true that S21FE support will be limited to Android 15

They can very well run Android 16 if the update is provided. OnePlus One that came out in 2015 has Android 13 custom ROM that's smooth and very much usable. Companies make stuff obsolete on purpose to get you to buy their new products, at the end we are left with powerful and capable hardware wasted away.
