Go for either Dell Inspiron or HP Pavillion series. Personally I have experienced heating issues in my HP laptop while Dell has no such issue.

So personally I have a dell PC at home. And I previously had a HP Laptop. As per my experience, I should recommend you HP for heavy gaming and Dell for work like MS Excel, Word , PowerPoint etc.
