We all want security in our phones. That's why we sometimes download Antivirus apps in our phones to stop viruses.
But we are doing wrong.
Android and Windows viruses work in different ways.
In Windows, Antivirus apps are necessary as they can stop the virus files.
But in Android, viruses do not exist. Android gets malware instead of virus.
And those Antivirus apps cannot stop those malwares from installing, as these apps don't have permission to remove any system files. So, those apps are useless.
Those apps ONLY drain your battery and your RAM.
Additionally, Android phones already have Google Play Protect, which is enough to stop malwares.
So, you can delete those useless Antivirus apps from your phone and save Battery and RAM.
And remember to download apps only from Play Store to reduce the chances of getting Malware.

They only tell to uninstall the malware apps
They cannot do anything on their own
They cannot even prevent malware from installing

They help us with identifying malware, that's more than enough.

But Android phones already have Google Play Protect
When our phone get any kind of malware, it automatically give us notification
Similar to Malwarebytes and Bitdefender
So what is use of installing any extra app to do the same thing?
