There is currently no point in buying the 5800x because the i7 10700k is a LOT cheaper than that, and with a bit of overclocking, it can hit i9 levels of performance with more stability than Ryzen. Zen 3 is a massive hit in gaming, but Intel will be taking back the gaming crown once Rocket lake hits the markets.
