Tab S7 Plus Keyboard case Function keys Issue

I want to change the default function of the Function keys(F1 to F12) from function keys to media/control keys.

Currently user have to presss and hold th 'Fn key' in combination to use the media function of the keys.

Almost no one ever use the Fn key, whereas the media keys are easily one of the most needed keys so why have samsung defaulted the key function to function keys.

Please give us a setting to change the function as it is present in most of the windows laptops since a 7-8 years.

Thanks I used this to Lock de FN key on the Keyboard Case of the TAB S8 Ultra.

It also shows a screen message when the Fn Key is Locked

Thats easy, just press and hold Fn key for 10 seconds, here you go 👍🏻

So, I tested this on my Galaxy Tab S7 FE with both the keyboard (only) book cover and the keyboard/trackpad cover.  The 5 second Function key hold works GREAT on the keyboard only book cover, but not at all on the cover with the trackpad.

Issue still not fixed on Tab S7+ with official trackpad keyboard cover.

Can,'t find any option for that, and the 5s trick doesn't work.

Hey,
This is corrected by samsung at hardware level in the new keyboard cover for Tab S7 FE, S8 series(also backward compatible with S7 series).
But they didn't bother to fix it at software level for older keyboard case model.

Just use "Key Mapper" app, it runs in the background without even you know that its doing the work(I am also using it since a year)
