Pretty much the title. Samsung for the love of god please enable this feature. The double tap to screen off memo is so laggy in s8 series and older that it is an absolute piece of garbage. It is little bit better in the s9 series but NOWHERE NEAR to apples tablets. On the ipads, the notes will open the moment the pencil touches the screen. No button press double tap **bleep**.
Atleast give me an option to open screen off memo when the spen is removed from back while screen is locked. There is an option to take notes when the spen is removed but this works only when screen is ON! When I remove the spen while screen is locked, it goes to password/fingerprint screen which is so annoying!
Or even something like detecting when the screen cover is opened and turning on the screen off memo automatically would be much appreciated.!!
On side note, Please ensure the screen off memo is saved somewhere permanently so that Iwould not f*kin lose all the notes I took if i decide to take a break and the screen turns off. I had so many instances where I would lose ALL THE NOTES which I took for HOURS if I turn the screen off without saving and opened again.
Thank you for reading my rant all the way to the end. Please help samsung! This is really ruining the user experience for me and keeping me away from using my tab s8 plus for the one thing I bought it for!!
