Unfortunately, the Galaxy Tab S6 stopped getting updates with One UI 4.1.1. You could get a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition and it has One UI 5.1.1

Software updates are like oil changes and tune-ups for your phone or tablets - they keep things running smoothly. They also help improve the user interface, enhance security, and remove minor bugs. We recommend updating the software whenever a new version is available so you can make sure your device stays in tip-top shape.

So, if your device doesn’t update the software follow the steps below:

Delete apps you don't use
Deleting an app that you don’t use is a simple way to free up storage space on your device. Press and hold the app icon and select Uninstall. Or you can also follow the steps below:

1 Go to Settings and select Apps.
App settings
2 Choose an app you would like to delete from the list.
Select unused app
3 Select Uninstall.
Uninstall apps
4 Tap OK to delete the app.

Clear cache and delete temporary files
1 Go to Settings and select Apps.

2 Choose an app you want to clear the cache of and select Storage.

3 Tap Clear cache.
You can also clear the entire cache at once by optimizing your device. Follow the steps below:

1 Go to Settings and select Battery and device care.
2 Tap Optimize now.
3 Once optimized, tap Done to finish.

Try updating the software in Safe mode
If you have enough storage space on your device but cannot update the software, you can try updating in Safe mode.

1 Press and hold the Volume down key and the Side key.
Safe mode
2 Select Power off.
Power off button
3 After the screen turns off, press and hold the Volume down key and the Side key at the same time.

5 When Safe mode appears on the lower left corner of the screen, release the key. Try updating in Safe mode.

Volume and Side key locations may vary depending on the device model.

Software update via Smart Switch
Not only is Smart Switch great for transferring data, but it’s also an easy way to update your device’s software. When you open Smart Switch on your Mac or Windows PC, you’ll see an option to update to a new software version if one is available.

Use the USB cable included with your Galaxy device to connect it to a computer with Smart Switch installed. You may need a USB adapter for some PCs.
Open Smart Switch on the computer and allow it to detect the device. If an update is available, the Update button will appear.
Click Update on your PC and follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
Note: Don't disconnect the USB cable or use your device until the update is complete. Your Galaxy device will reboot as part of the update process.

Note:

To avoid mistakes during the update, make sure that your internet connection is stable.
