S6 Lite Spen issues

Bought a S6 lite recently.  From Day 1 facing issues with the S pen. It writes/operates without even touching the screen. Called Samsung support, did a factory reset as they asked to do so. But the problem continued. Carried it to a Samsung Service center, they did the same thing. Problem continued. Now comes the funny part, Samsung service center says it is designed to operate in such a way. They were trying to explain the air drop/view feature. Come on Samsung, not all are illiterates.Horrible service.

My Spen is basically unusable and Samsung has given me horrible service. And this is going to be my last Samsung Purchase.

It depends on what you do, S Pen is designed to do stuff withoit touching the screen also, but if it is doing things which require touching the screen without touching it, then something is wrong. What exactly is it doing without touching that it should not do?

it writes without touching the screen. don't think that is a part of the design

Can you make a video of it doing the same so that we can evaluate it better?

that's surprising, suggest check settings>advanced features>s pen : If the problem continues, at the end of the page : contact us > remote support, Samsung team will access your Tab and show them the problem, see if they can sort out.

strange.. I've been using the same, never faced this issue. did you try using a different stylus (from a note or another tablet) on the screen and see if you're still facing the issue ?

haven't tried. will be trying soon. the tablet otherwise is working fine. should be a faulty s pen

not sure, it shouldn't be writing anything without the physical contact. it could be a software issue.. good luck
