A month old tab s9 fe+. Location not working since day 1. It works on my phone with the same gmail id logged in. Have sent device logs to support team here on the member app. They just ask me to wait. What should I do?

Yeah but getting a new device and waiting for updates to fix problems on the new device doesn't sound very ideal, does it? What update is going to fix it? The next update is probably going to be one ui 6 which won't arrive anytime soon. I got the tab in October. Now it's December. How long do you think I should wait to use a simple function like GPS?

Try to wipe cache partition and repair apps in recovery.
If doesn't work then there might be location problem , i face same issue in my Tab S8 and it works in other locations like my home and my college so try going to other location and check. I took to service center they told this and turn on nearby scanning as tablets depends on other networks for location if your tablet has only wifi.

Hello,

I believe I have found a solution to the issue you are experiencing with your new S9 FE tablet. I encountered the same problem and reported the log to the support team, but unfortunately, I did not receive any assistance. After further investigation, I discovered a potential solution.

To resolve the issue, please follow these steps:

1. Reset the network and Bluetooth settings found under General Management in the Samsung settings.
2. Grant all necessary permissions to the location app, connect to Wi-Fi, and pair your Bluetooth devices again.
3. Download the GPS Monitor app from the Galaxy Store.
4. Wait for the app to gather satellite and other relevant information.
5. Open Google Maps and tap on "Find my location."

This solution has worked for me, and I hope it will resolve the problem for you as well. Please let me know if this information is helpful.

Thank you.

Better late than never! Still see people with this issue, so I thought I’d share. 😊
